The former Everton winger has blended speed, directness, and improved end product this season. Under Eddie Howe, Gordon’s decision-making has sharpened, and his work rate off the ball stands out.

He’s become a regular starter on the left, constantly threatening with his dribbles and quick transitions. His link-up with Alexander Isak and Bruno Guimarães has added fluidity to Newcastle’s attack.

Gordon’s defensive discipline also fits Howe’s pressing philosophy. He’s not afraid to track back and help his full-back when needed.
